POP Peeper is an email notifier that supports POP3, IMAP with Idle (AOL, AIM, etc.), SMTP, GMail, Outlook.com/Hotmail, Yahoo, mail.com, MyWay, Excite, Lycos, RediffMail, Juno, NetZero and RSS (available). Other features include portability, spam filter with rules, spell checker, password protection, address book, viewing messages in HTML (or rich/plain text for security), attachments, separate polling intervals for each account and more. There are also many notification options available such as sound alerts (configurable for each account), flashing keyboard LED, skinnable popup notifier, customized screensaver, voice notification and more. There are several different trayicon options to indicate new mail has arrived including an animated icon and displaying the number of new messages directly in the trayicon.

With support for the IMAP idle command, you will be notified instantly when new mail arrives in your mailbox. For networking security, you can use SSL/TLS and there are options available to make reading email safer when using HTML by removing possibly harmful file attachments and web beacons. Besides just reading your email, you can also delete, print and reply to messages. Advanced users will enjoy the ability to customize toolbars, keyboard shortcuts, columns, fonts and more. Many more advanced features are available while keeping the interface simple for new users.

The AntiJunk feature will automatically filter your email so that you are only notified about email that's not spam. Powerful rules allow you to customize your email even more, such as special notifications for specific people or automatically moving email into a separate folder.
